Had a new farmer on to me friday evening asking me to deal with some uninvited guests, drove a fair didtance to meet up with the man and he brought us to the place he wanted checked out, looked a nice easy spot and the lurchers told us the place was occupied.Off with the terrier and in no time action stations Let her settle a while and off we went, down 2ft only, opened up and the bitch had it all under control. This is her 1st chance to get going as she was in season all along.she got a grand little dig last wednesday but today she was let loose and found her own way in and on,no messing about,if she doesnt settle down shes going to suffer as shes full on and hard at her job...the young saluki i bred was well up for a bit of the action and at one stage dissapeared into the depts of the earth and didnt come out for a while. It obviously is a roomy earth as he turned around inside and came out head forst. So we backfilled and called to the farmer,he said then to look at the other one at the edge of the banking, :cray:

We finished our season 3 weeks ago but since weve had 3 call outs,I am happy we got the chance to work the 2 young dogs I have and now know they are worthy of some investment of my time, but I really want to call a halt as the cubs will be here allready and I dont want to come on them.Luckily we havent so far.,We went up the hill and ran the bitch again and it was a mere 6-10 foot in and on game.A deep dig of 0.4 :D and through, she again had the culprit accounted for.Im pleased for once things are going my way as Ive had a few failures this season.

Glad it's going your way for a change jig, we had a terrible couple of years there but this season was bang on in regards to how the dogs went, none of them missed a beat for us and tbh we really needed it lol
